International congress in hybrid mode

The 2030 Agenda is an intergovernmental commitment and action plan for people, planet and prosperity. It includes 17 sustainable development goals, which describe humanity’s main development challenges, combining the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental. Its purpose is to ensure a sustainable, peaceful, prosperous and just life on earth for all, now and in the future.

The great efforts made by nations and Cuba in particular, to achieve these objectives and to direct all their efforts from science to achieve them, have been permeated by the serious problems and challenges facing the world, aggravated by the effects caused by COVID-19. In this sense, education systems have been committed to making enormous efforts to promote learning opportunities for all and to guarantee inclusive, equitable and quality education in different contexts, using the results of science, technology and innovation in all areas of knowledge, from a sustainable development perspective, to educate and prepare people to adapt to their time and reality.

Under the precept that “A better world is possible” and recognizing the work of education professionals and the importance of the results of the educational research they carry out, to achieve the aspirations declared in Sustainable Development Goal 4, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Cuba and the Havana Convention Palace, are pleased to invite you to participate in the International Pedagogy Congress 2023, on the occasion of its eighteenth edition, from January 30 to February 3, 2023, to be held in Havana, Cuba.

On this occasion, it will be held in hybrid mode, consolidating the essence of these meetings as spaces for the socialization of scientific knowledge, dialogue, exchange of best practices and values, to coordinate strategies and agreements between institutions, to promote communication and interaction between teachers, managers and students from different countries, all to help raise the quality of education.
