Environmental education and challenges to promote health and social welfare
We will discuss the pedagogical experiences, the results, impacts, projections, of the educational processes that promote actions to guarantee a healthy life and promote well-being at all ages, in compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals until 2030.
The proposals highlight the role of the educational institution as the most important cultural center of the community, where a series of personal, material, technical, methodological elements are grouped and ordered, and which have specific means to develop healthy lifestyles, based on the hypothesis that society is better transformed by informed citizens, with sufficient habits and skills to actively participate in different economic, political and social processes and that ensure quality and increasingly healthy lifestyles.
The themes will present the results on education for health and sexuality; physical education, sports and recreation; artistic and aesthetic education; job training; the promotion of the habit of reading; environmental education, as well as the protection of the environment and particularly the Life Task, in Cuba.
The works are related to experiences or research developed at any of the educational levels, aimed at students, educators and families, to promote prosperity while protecting the planet and initiatives to end poverty, favor social growth. and environmental protection.
