Latin american thought and the influence of unions, teachers and students organizations in educational development

The Symposium discusses the role played by unions, teacher unions and student organizations in terms of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the 2030 Agenda, with a view to raising the quality of education. Dialogue, participation and social management of educators’ organizations in the countries present at the event will be favored, with proposals for concrete actions to transform the current situation through the exchange of experiences between representatives of unions, union associations, community , students and scientists with the purpose of assessing the possibilities of acting jointly, in order to achieve a quality inclusive education based on the improvement and continuous training of workers and students. Among the topics that are submitted for debate are the proposals of union and union organizations, the importance of Latin American educational thought, the ways to raise the quality of the professional performance of teachers, the defense of professional identity and ethical values. , the work carried out based on sustainable development from a critical perspective, since we defend the principle that a better world is possible by joining forces.
